In 2024 there is an estimated 3,578 people living with dementia in the Onkaparinga region. This is estimated to increase to 5,582 people by 2054.
A recent survey by Dementia Australia found people living with dementia and their carers, reported they experienced embarrassing situations and often felt strongly disconnected.
